Mill Creek Police seek the public’s help in identifying a man who stole two packages from the front porch of a Mill Creek residence. The incident occurred the afternoon of January 26, 2018, in the 3200 block of 145th Place SE.

The man, posing as a delivery person, carried an empty package up to the porch. He dropped off the empty package and picked up a package that had previously been delivered and was waiting on the porch. The subject then made a second trip to the porch to pick up another large package, which he then carried to his vehicle.

“This individual was so confident in his cover that he performed the theft while residents were outside their homes nearby,” said Detective Sergeant Stan White.

The owners have a camera embedded in their doorbell that captured the entire incident on video: https://ring.com/share/6515495607423388508.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5-feet 11-inches tall, and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He has brown hair and is estimated to be between 35 and 40 years of age. The subject was seen pulling away in a small blue SUV, unknown license plate.

The public is encouraged to contact Mill Creek Police Investigations with information or tips at investigations@cityofmillcreek.com or by phone at 425-337-1115.
