Today, Snohomish County announced that it is accepting applications for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
This program provides eligible low-income seniors with $40 worth of checks to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at participating farmers markets or farm stands.
Low income Snohomish County residents who meet the following qualifications can apply for vouchers:
- Age 60+ for non-Native Americans
- Age 55+ for Native Americans
Household Income Limits
- Up to $1,986/ month for 1 person
- Up to $2,686/month for 2 people
- For larger households, add $700 per person

Priority deadline for applications is June 4, 2021. If funding remains after June 4th, applications will be reviewed and awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applications are available online in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, and Tagalog. Google Translate is also available.
